Joined Spring 2025; I am a Computer Science major at West Virginia University. I have enjoyed playing video games since I was young and I wish to help create an amazing experience for those who enjoy them.

Joined Summer 2023; Leadership team and publishing support. I'm an alumnus at WVU of the Game Design and Interactive Media program. I also helped create and maintain our new studio-specific discord server. 

Joined Fall 2024; My name is Christian Cahall. I am enrolled in my senior year as a Game Design and Interactive Media Major at WVU. As a child, I enjoyed creating worlds through art and designing games to allow others to experience them. During my capstone, I aim to challenge myself, improve , and learn invaluable lessons that will help me find a successful career within the game design industry in the future.
 

I am the Founder and Director of MonRiverGames. I also teach as part of the Game Design and Interactive Media Program at West Virginia University.

Joined Fall 2024; Hi! My name is Triston and I am from Wheeling, WV. I am a senior in the GDIM program here at WVU! I am also a member of the WV Air National Guard. In my free time I like to go backpacking, play video games and hang out with my two dogs Obi and Binx.
 

Joined Fall 2024; I am a senior Game Design and Interactive Media student. I am currently working with Prof. Cole and others on an AR game through Unity for the WV State Museum! I have been attempting to learn more C++ as of late!
 

Joined Fall 2024; I am a senior in Computer Science at WVU. Currently enrolled in undergrad research for game development with MonRiverGames. Tasked with researching Unity and C# to develop functionality for knowledge-based game requested by Morgantown, WV history museum.

Joined Summer 2023; Media Director, I'm excited for the opportunity to volunteer at MonRiverGames and to be its media director. I really enjoy what the studio is doing and how our projects are coming along.

Joined Summer 2023; Co-Assistant Director. Received a Computer Science degree from WVU IN 2003, but have been playing video games as a hobby for the majority of my life. I am instructing "Unity Game Engines" this semester at WVU. I want to learn as much as I can and share what I learn.

As a lifelong gamer, my passion for gaming fuels my creative process, helping me design engaging and enjoyable games across various genres and styles. I’m driven to create unique and captivating worlds that players can fully explore and enjoy.

Joined Fall 2024;Hi, my name is Ivanie M. Ortiz, I'm a game design major here at WVU. My main focus and big passions are games with complex mechanics and in-depth systems. Along with making combat systems for games I'm also big on story boarding and writing.

Joined Summer 2023; Community Director,  I am helping wherever I can! I have a passion for creating interactive experiences that make learning fun. This past school year I assisted the most with communication between the WV State Museum and the studio's project WV Quest. 

Joined Fall 2024; My name is Rachel Ogbonna and I'm a sophomore computer science major at West Virginia University. This year I will be doing research with MonRiverGames under the RAP program. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing video games, and listening to music. Although I'm new to working in the game development field, I'm excited to learn all about it!
